Friends of The Montgomery Canal
At Redwith, along the recently restored section, weed has begun to choke the newly planted towpath hedge.
The “Friends” have decided to take a hand and help out by removing excessive weed growth from around the saplings to give them a better start.
The first work party began clearing the vegetation on Saturday the 6th Feb.
Another work party was planned for Saturday the 20th Feb. To complete the clearance as far as Redwith Bridge.
