St Georges Day Walk (Nearest Sat. To 23rd April)
A well attended walk from Crickheath Bridge to Llanymynech took place today. The walkers also visited the restored Hoffmann Kiln at Llanymynech Heritage Area before enjoying an excellent refreshment buffet provided by the “Friends”at the Llanymynech Wharf Visitor Centre.
A trip along the restored section of the canal on the N.B. George W. Buck was also enjoyed by the walkers before returning along the towpath to Crickheath.
